There were many people involved in the wreck of the Admella ranging from those who hung on for 8 days to survive, through to the many who were involved in rescue attempts, to the telegraph operators in Mount Gambier 26 kilometres north of the wreck who kept the rest of the country informed.

The following is a far from complete list of the people who were involved in some way. The organising committee would like to identify as many descendants of these people as possible so they can be kept informed of the events planned for 2009.
